BABY MILESTONES: NOTICE THEM TO DETERMINE CHILD’S GROWTH

During pregnancy, you do everything you can do for your healthy child like you eat healthy and balanced food, avoid bad habits like smoking and exercise regularly. But after your delivery, you take care of every baby milestones like rolling, crawling, and saying his first word. But there are many other baby milestones which can help you in determining whether your baby is developing rightly or he needs extra care and attention. 

When your baby will make eye contact with you, you will be very happy and you take it a small milestone but it is not small milestone indeed it is very important. Eye contact of your child and his ability to follow you with his eyes show that the neurological growth and his ability o communicate with you is on right track.

Among other baby milestones, a developmental milestone which might seem very small at first instance but very important is smile of child. When your baby smiles after watching your smile then it means that he can understand what your are doing and he does same as you.

His smile is not an occasional smile which he gives after he passes gas or star at something on the ceiling. So if your baby’s age is in between 6 and 8 months then you should often smile so that he smiles also in response.

It will create a very strong bond between you and your child. If your child is 3 months old and you do not notice any social smile then you should tell it to your doctor as it may because of any eye disorder or attachment disorder. Parents get very happy when they hear sound of cooing of their child.

When your child gets 8 weeks of his age then he will give response of your talking by cooing. You may find that your baby is cooing while hearing you or just because he feels like it. If your baby is cooing in response of your talks then it means that his first temporal is maturing.

First temporal lobe in brain is speech center. You have to notice whether at the age of 2 to 3 months, he starts rolling. He tries to push himself up. Similarly at age of 3 to 5 months, you child will start crawling and he will try to reach different objects. You have to notice all milestones so that you can determine about the growth of your child.
